1.               What makes Ritual Living Co. different?

Ritual Living Co. approaches getting organized from a holistic standpoint.  We believe in that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world and that your life will start to flow when you can clear space for what you truly want and need. 

 

2.              How does the Ritual Living Co. help me become successful?

Getting organized can impact your life massively in so many ways.  From simply creating a home for the items you use every day to putting processes in place to help your day run smoother, we have the tools & tips to get you there.  When you’re spending less time looking for the things you need, you are able to devote more time to the things you want.  When you’re successful, we’re successful.

 

3.              Are you ready to get organized?

How do you know you’re ready to get organized?   Perhaps its when life just doesn’t seem to be working for you anymore or you just feel stuck.  We get it - we’ve been there.  If you’re at this point and are ready to unblock your life, sign up for a FREE 1/2 hour consultation where we we will discuss your goals & expectations for the project.  You’ll answer a few quick questions prior to our call and can choose to either send photos of your space or chat by FaceTime or Skype instead.  Then get ready to get organized!  (Please note the client is expected to be present during the organizing process unless agreed in advance otherwise).

 

4.             How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been organizing & styling for over 10 years - ever since I first realized that I was BORN to do it - when I was organizing my closet for 5 hours straight and forgot to eat breakfast… and lunch. I have enjoyed doing it for clients, friends, & family ever since and continue to lose track of time while doing this 'work'!

 

5. What types of clients have you worked with?

I have organized closets, offices, kitchens, bedrooms, garages, etc - you name it! I have worked with a range of customers - from those who simply need a space organized - quickly & efficiently - to those who needed someone to work side by side with them as they lovingly chose to let go of sentimental items & memorabilia. The de-cluttering & organizing process is different for everyone and I am here to hold space for anyone wanting to go through it.

 

6.             Is there a recent project you are fond of?  And how long did it take?

I worked closely with a client who had recently returned from a year of traveling abroad. She was bringing in some items from her storage space and didn't have enough room to keep everything in her closet or her home. She had a lot of memories attached to these items and we worked side by side for around 4 hours, determining which items to let go of, which to keep and store separately, and which ones to keep in her closet - and how to best organize that based on how she used the items she kept.  In the end, she felt lighter in letting go of what was no longer serving her and had a sense of completion and ability to look toward the future confidently with her newly organized space.

 

7.             What advice would I give you if you’re thinking of hiring a professional organizer?

De-cluttering and organizing is a personal process & hiring a professional organizer is personal as well.  You should feel happy, safe, & comfortable with whomever you choose to work with.  You as the client are in control of what you want to be done with your space & your belongings, so when we work together, my job is, in a large part, to guide you through the steps as well as offer my insights and expertise on how best to get organized. Working with me is a safe and judgment-free process and I am happy to help you create space to reveal more of what you truly want in life & be more of who you really are. In the end, my goal is really to help you transform your life.

 

8.             What questions should I think through before reaching out?

Let me know the size of your space and if that space is shared with other people who may need to be involved in the process. Let me know how you use the space and what your biggest struggle is right now. Please be clear about the space you would like to be worked on & what you expect to accomplish at the end of the organizing session.

 

9.             What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have certification through NAPO - the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals and have been an organizer professionally for several years prior and many years prior to that personally. 

 

10.          What does Coaching have to do with it? 

Many of the areas that are unorganized or not functioning in your home are showing up as a reflection of something else not flowing in your life.  As a coach, I can give help you come up with a specific plan and tools (actionable steps) to address these blocks and help you stay accountable as you move through the process - so you can breakthrough.  

 

11.          What if I’m not in NYC?

Did you know Ritual Living Co. offers virtual organizing & styling services as well?!  This is perfect if you’re not local to NYC or just prefer to get hands on and DIY!  You’ll still get the 1/2 consultation call (or video chat) and then a personalized instruction kit on how to clear & organize your space to your heart’s content.  Any questions that you have during or after your installation are just an email away!

 

12.          Do you travel?

We do!  We love to travel and would be happy to come to you.  Schedule a call with us to review your needs and we’ll put together a customized quote - easy as that.

 

13.          How much do you charge?

Our rates are posted under “Services” and are per hour with a 4-hour minimum. Final quotations are provided after photos/videos of the space to be organized are given, an intake form is filled in, and an initial, free 1/2 hour consultation, is complete.  Depending on the size of the job, a custom project rate may be given.  Once a date is scheduled & the project confirmed, all payments are made upfront via Paypal, Venmo or credit card.

 

14.          What is your referral program?

We’re happy to offer a referral fee to anyone who refers Ritual Living Co.  Please send us an email with the Subject Line: Referral and tell us your first & last name, your email address, the first & last name of the person you are referring & their email address.  A session must be booked & paid for in full in order for referral fee to be received.   (referral fees are paid at Ritual Living Co’s discretion.  We reserve the right to discontinue referral fees at any time).
